Tiffany Blaise is a Vancouver-based contemporary artist and designer working with private clients and interior designers.
Her art work is inspired by photographs of storms from the West Coast and Midwest, and explores the beauty in disaster. Like a snapshot, the paintings capture a moment and convey a narrative utilizing the key themes of movement and transformation. While each piece is being painted it evolves and transitions quickly, like an approaching storm.
Tiffany earned a BFA from Concordia University, where she was the proud recipient of the 2012 Surface 3 Award for emerging design talent. Her work has been featured in the Montreal Art Matters Festival, The Ferry Building Gallery, The Telus World of Science, and the Cirque Du Soleil headquarters.
When she’s not painting Tiffany can be found hunting for one-of-a-kind vintage items or shopping at local markets for fresh ingredients – both of which are elements for further creative concoctions in the home and kitchen.
